Your Chance to Improve Media Coverage of the Bronx

Our thanks to Simone Davis over at www.thebronxrocks.com for sending us this info...

WNYC (93.9 FM)is looking for NYC residents to serve as sources to improve their coverage of the outer boroughs.

Their new initiative, Public Insight Journalism, encourages people from all walks of life to register on their website to be used as sources for future stories they report on. Public Sources can serve as a reference point for reporters researching existing or ongoing stories, or they can also chime in and recommend coverage of a particular issue that's near and dear to their hearts or communities.

Click here to learn more about WNYC's Public Insight Journalism initiative, or to register to become a Public Source. WNYC guarantees your privacy, and ensure that you will receive no more than one email per month asking for your experience regarding to a particular issue.

If you have any questions about becoming a Public Source, you can contact Janaya Williams, WNYC's Public Insight Analyst, at (646) 401-1136 or jwilliams [at] wnyc [dot] org.
